Thanks for posting the pictures. I believe the Corsair came back to the states and is now in Oregon. Has anyone seen it since? Does it still wear the same paint scheme? Thanks in advance

What's the story on Firefly WD833? I know this aircraft has been listed on Courtesy for some time, with what seems like a low price (99k) for such an apparently complete aircraft. The registry shows the aircraft as "restoration to airworthy started" by Amjet.

I remember as well that for some time there was a Firefly (same one?} at the LSFM in Galveston. I asked someone there about it and they said the center spar carry through was trashed due to corrosion, making it "unable to ever be restored to airworthy".

The Firefly has always been one of my favorites. When I was a kid in the 70s I tried to convince my dad to find and restore a Firefly, as I thought it would be perfect for me to ride around with him in to airshows!
