any early B-17F's in need of Data Plate?

If there was a future early Boeing B-17F restoration project in need of a data plate this offering on eBay might be of extreme interest.

41-24444, a B-17F-10-BO, had an interesting career. It took Gen. Eisenhower to Gibraltar (the first B-17 to go there) with Paul Tibbets to start with. Some memorabilia (photos, etc.) goes with it for documentation purposes.

The Red Gremlin would be a great re-creation it seems.

I discovered the auction just tonight, and now only 14 hours and 10 minutes left.

By the way was the Greeley, CO B-17 fuselage an early F by any chance?

A data plate is not a title to an airplane according to the FAA, just like possession of a VIN plate does not prove the ownership of a car.
