Ok, perhaps this is a silly thing, but I was wondering if the Air Force has any song that is similar to that of the Navy's "Theme from Top Gun" :?

It seems that for any show or video clip that has to do with jets, most people play the Top Gun theme. And it doesn't matter if the jets are Air Force F-16s or Navy F-18s, it still gets played.

For example, with the Super Bowl pre-game coverage, they talked about the Thunderbirds and two of the announcers got to take rides in the jets. Guess what music they played? That's right... TOP GUN! Given the "Air Force vs. Navy" rivalry, I wonder how the Thunderbirds felt about the Top Gun music? :)

Like I said, perhaps it doesn't matter... just thoughts and observations.... :D

That would be Kenny Loggins "Danger Zone" you're refering to as "Top Gun"?

Yes, actually that as well as what is actually called "Top Gun Anthem."

Yes of course I know that one, but I was refering to something more in the rock genre such as the Top Gun songs.
