Hello all,

Are there any C-130 "Roman nose" jobs still flying today? Has always been my favorite C-130 version. Ugly, but I like em'!

Thank,
Nate

I think they are all gone. Most that continued to fly had their noses converted to acept the APN-59 radar antenna. You can post your question on the Hercules HQ message board for a more definate answer...

The hulk at Quonset had one of those noses on it still.
It was the first time I had seen one.
I dont think they are allowed to use them as training aids for loadmasters anymore. The one at Hanscom has been sitting off in a storage yard off the end of the big runway for a long time. It had a later model nose on it.
