I would just like to take time to mention that today is the 62 anniversary of the Invasion of Iwo Jima.

No one can know for sure how many air crews were saved by the taking of this island, but one thing is sure. close to 20, 000 men were casulties approximately 6000 giving their lives. I would like to thank all who participated for their sacrifice and service. May God bless those who did not return and may they rest in eternal peace.
