What is the name of the guy that moves warbirds by truck. He was involved in moving the planes at Offutt.

Hi,
If you are just needing trucking instead of a turn-key job, Les Chapman out of Blossom Texas is also a warbird specialist (he may do move than just the trucking part too, I'm not sure). Either are good choices, remember you get what you pay for (try to go too cheap and you might end up with scrap metal on the far end !!! )
PM me for his tel # if needed. (Les Chapman Transport Inc)

Cheers,
Brian

I really need to check the links included before posting replies!

I just saw the link to Mr Mosely's site which has info on the Chapmans. I met Chuck Mosely and Buddy Chapman at Cherry Point, both are really great guys.

Good luck and good night!
Brian

Les Chapman moved some T-28s form my hangar and did a great job. Reallt knows what hes' doing. Moved a half track from my hangar a few years later to the D-Day museum, again a great job. A couple of years ago Buddy moved the Fi-56 from my hangar to New Jersey and was a great help in dismantling a loading a hard to manage cargo.
