I was out about 3:15 and caught a glimpse of something big, silver, and low winged but couldn't watch for long due to having to watch traffic. I couldn't even tell how many engines it had but the brief glimpse I got screamed WW II.

The Flagship Detroit DC-3 is flying out of Roadhouse Aviation at RVS for the weekend. There was also an N3N, T-6, and T-28 out flying today. ALSO FLYING TODAY out of RVS was our CJ-6A for the first time since october. We had to put a 'new' engine in her and I did the first test flight today with a Yak-52 chase plane. Things went great but there was a little gut check on the runway before I poured the coals to it!

Whatever it was looked to be DC-3 size at minimum.
