Just glancing through a magazine, I came across an account of the following event.

Can anyone fill in the gaps?

In 19_ _, King _____ of _____ flew a Boeing B-17 belonging to _________ from ________ International Airport as co-pilot.

Good luck!

I seem to remember that he visited them, and given his interest in a/c would not be surprised if he flew it!

In 1981, King Hussein of Jordan flew a Boeing B-17 belonging to B-17 Preservation from Heathrow/Gatwick??? International Airport as co-pilot.

Hi TJJ,
Not a bad effort! Here's the updated bit...

In 19_ _, King Hussein of Jordan flew a Boeing B-17 belonging to _________ from ________ International Airport as co-pilot.

Clue - closer to 'home' and the B-17 was a working aircraft; so your date's a bit late.

So... Anyone going to nail it?
