OK...Didn't say what I expected it to. Said absolutely nothing about the Lexapro. It was all about my Type II and high blood pressure. They just want reports on both, (from my PCP), and some other stuff. Should not be a problem to get.

Mudge the heartened :D

I am SO sorry to hear about that.
IF you do get the conditions under control you can certainly re-apply.
It's worth going for it, more for your own health than the ability to fly. BUT as long as you're at it you might as well go fly too!

take care,
S

Both are well under control and my PCP sent a letter stating that. I guess they just want the numbers to "cover their arses". Don't blame 'em. People can get some Dr.s to write anything they want...for a price. (Is that being too cynical?)
I just called the OKC folks and talked to a nice lady. Told her I had everything they wanted with regard to glucose and hypertension that was done on 3/5/07 so that's good for another 2 1/2 months. My last ECG was in November so she said I'd have to get a more current one. Scheduled that for
next Wednesday. All I need now is the letter from my PCP. He said just show him what the FAA wants and he'll write the letter.

Mudge the hopeful

ps. When/if I get my OK, I'm gonna' post it here just to show off. I know...I know...lots of youse troops have yours already. BUT I DON'T AND I'M ALLOWED TO BE HAPPY WHEN IT DOES COME :drink3:
