Man, I sure do miss my old tug, but I'm glad that Nelson's putting it to good use. :D

It'll be nice to have another Lightning in the air. Is she gonna have a "Red Bull" paint job or an authentic military scheme?

That is a real work or art.

I hope we get to see her in the UK before she disappears into mainland Europe. Would it be very greedy to hope for TWO P-38's at Flying Legends ? ( Your right ~ yes it would  )

Actually worked on that possibility, but Nelson said they're likely not going to have it ready by May 12.

However, the amount of work they've done on that airplane, not to mention the amazing quality, is truly mezmerizing in the short time they've had it there. I know that lots of folks enjoy seeing the work we've done on the B-24, but what's being done by the hard working crew at Nelson's place is waaaay more impressive than anything I'm doing here. It will be quite the attraction once it's flying!

Just wondering. Looks like most of the pics I can find are just straight exhausts. I would like to hear one run with the turbos.

That is going to be one sharp bird. Any word as to if it might be able to make it to KOSH?

Gary, I think I read somewhere that Red Bull intended to fly it in the U.S through one airshow season before it left to go over to their base. Do you know if that is valid, and if so, have you heard what shows she might turn up at?
