Cool!

Got any 15th AF, 465th BG, 783rd BS?

This was my uncle's squadron.
I have seen a few from the 465th but very few that could be identified as the 783rd.

I know he flew V-Grand at least once, the one with all the signatures on it.
Looking for "Q" code specifically...he won a DFC in that one.

Jack,
I would love to see anything you've got from the 456th BG. It was my Dad's Group, He was in the 745 Squadron as a 21 year old aircraft commander. First two missions (as copilot) were the last Ploesti missions. Wicked rough. Got him thinking, if he's got to complete 33 more like these to complete the tour, no freakin way. But he got through it, and rotated back to the states to instruct in B-24's and the B-29's. Got me invoved in my warbird career early on and we eventually flew for several years as father/son crew in B-17 Fuddy Duddy and we both flew with Tallichet quite often (17 & 24). Anyways he'll be 84 in about a month and still with us, but just barely. Any goods you can come up with with the ol' 456 would be great.
Thanks-
Rob Gillman

Any 90th BG?

My grandfather flew in 44-40185 named "Queen of Hearts" from the 320th.
Or any other pics from this squadron would be helpful.

I may have some on a external hard drive I loaned to a friend.
I'll check when I get it back. I know I have a bunch of the Paote Birds of the 22nd BG.
