I went to a small fly in(accompanied by a large car show) in Osceola, WI today. While the warbird turnout wasn't as good as previous years there were still a fair number for a small town fly in includeing 2 N3Ns. A special thanks goes out to the crew of Miss Mitchell who were at another event in the area, heard the radio chatter and decided to give us a flyby before heading back to So. St. Paul.

That Bird Dog in Maltese markings is actually a former Italian Army machine. How did it get to Osceola? Any chances of a high-res picture for me?

The Bird Dog is registered to a gentleman in Stillwater, MN who must be new to the airshow/fly in circuit as I haven't seen it before. I'm afraid I can't help you out with how it came back to the US. Drop me an email at dan.johnson@gmail.com and I'll send you a few of the full size shots.

Gregory, the Maltese Air Force had 4 Bird Dogs for sale, we tried to get them but they were sold to some guy in the USA.

You are right, they were ex-Italian machines before being on Malta.
