Don't have a name for this fella at hand... I think he was ops officer for the 11th. Maybe Jack has some info handy?

Real nice shots. I bet a friend of mines' "K" model is in one of those pics. Thanks much for posting these.

Fan-freakin-tastic!

I've been wanting to do a model of an Aleutian Tiger, but until now I couldn't find a really clear pic of the "winterized" exhausts. Now I just have to figure out how to replicate them in 1/72...

I like the name on that first shot of the nosed-over P-40, 4Q - like that B-26 QQQQ in the other thread. Of course after this incident the pilot probably was thinking "4Q? 4Qme" :D

Good stuff! I've got a few of the NARA shots. The pilots looks a bit like
Jake Dixon.

Glad you guys like these...

Thanks for the possible ID, Jack...

Here's a few more miscellaneous images. None of these are in my collection, but I've secured them for use on the website. It may be a while before I get them all up though... so, until then I thought they'd be appreciated here...

Very nice!!!
On the color photo you see the yellow really sticking out of the rest. Must have been a sight.

Awsome! I've never seen color shots of the original Aeutian Tiger P-40s.

I'm intrigued by the P-40 in the second color shot..it's got the Aeutian Tiger nose art, red-bordered insignia, and two-tone camo. Would you have a closer pick that shows the tail number?

No, unfortunately I don't... :(

I think I know what you're thinking though, and when I get around to busting out a Hasegawa kit I'll probably have similar thoughts!
