All-

Does anyone know about the status of the following A-24s? They are all listed in the registry as "under restoration." Are the restorations progressing, are they stalled? Does anyone know of any other A-24 restorations in progress?

The Kevin Smith A-24
http://www.warbirdregistry.org/sbdregis ... 54593.html

The Kermit Weeks A-24
http://www.warbirdregistry.org/sbdregis ... 54643.html

The MARC A-24 (at MAPS)
http://www.warbirdregistry.org/sbdregis ... 54654.html

All are Tulsa-built aircraft, and all are true A-24s. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

kevin

The one that was at MAPS went to the Midway Museum.

Not much has happened with a24 42-54593 for the past year or so, although the pace had been pretty steady up until then. It's been about six months since I last saw her, but the fuselage is in a jig being slowly built up again after the damaged parts were removed. I expect the pace to pick up again before too long though.

What was damaged? Is there only the fuselage?
