Read a recent post on some PV-2 projects which got me to wondering.

I grew up in Columbus Nebraska. My dad worked for a small company based at the public airport. There were two identical planes that based on my recolection had to be PV-2s. They were brought in and some work was done to them and then they sat at the south end of the airport for years untouched.

Dad thought they were being converted to, or had been converted to sprayers but now can't recall who owned them or why they were there. The last time I was at that airport before heading off to college was in 1984 or 1985. My parents moved while I was in college so I never went back. I checked google earth and they are gone.

Anyone have any ideas as to the which birds these may have been?

Eric
