Well, I'm still gathering pictures for my book (see a host of previous postings of mine for details). I have everything now except the ever elusive Ki-84 photo...anyone with a good color photo of it that I can use gets a free prize. Seriously. There is only one of these planes left in the world, and it is parked in a Japanese museum. Lots of Japanese people have pictures of it. I don't speak Japanese. Arrgghh.

But that's not why I'm posting...I also need a Wildcat photo now, too, as one photo I thought I had turned out to be unusable. So if anyone happened to catch a good one recently and would be willing to let me use it in my book, you would receive full photo credit, a free PDF of the book, and my eternal and undying gratitude.

Post'em if you got'em...

You may be able to contact that site owner.

Great shots, Eric! I think I'll use one of Chino Wildcats in the old paint. It'll be printed approx. 2 inches across at 300 dpi, so I can probably just pull one off of your site and it will be fine once it's sized down. You're welcome to email me a larger rez version of DSC_2980.jpg if you like, though, at fritz at boomandzoomgraphics.com

Thanks, bud!

Regarding Ki-84 shots:

I found the first link before, but was unable to get a response. Language barrier, I expect. The second photo is a model, but I've actually been considering using one of those diorama photos is all else fails LOL.

The third link lacks color photos, but I probably should email the guy and see if he has any leads.

My offer for the color Ki-84 photo stands...free prize for finding one I can use. Tell your friends...

I'll send you a printable copy of that shot for better quality printing this evening.
