Seeing the shot of AM-927 at Expo 72 made me dig in my files to find some additional (allbeit a little earlier than Expo) of good old AM-927. Hope everyone, even Gary, will enjoy.

1. is as N1503, circa mid 50's
2. is shortly after arrival in Brownsville in May of 1967, registerd as XC-CAY on tail.
3. and 4. are at Harlingen, TX, Oct 1972, and registered as N12905.

Cool pics! Interesting to see her different liverys over the years.

Here's a few more recent pics of the desert scheme...

My Dad wondering what this nose is to...

Hey, that's the old Diamond Lil nose! Wonder if it will fit in our carry ons?

More junk lying around. Man, would I love to have THAT hanging on the wall!

I believe that's the old tip-o-the-tail, not the old nose...

Thanks for posting these, all!

Fade to Black...

Leafing thru my slides last night I came across a color shot of old 927 when she was registered as N1503. Photographer Unknown. Date Unknown. BTW was getting my 10 pages of B-24 slides ready to mail
to Tim Savage for possible use in an upcoming article in Warbird Digest.
Enjoy. John
