I just saw a episode of NOVA about the stress on fighter pilots. In it there was some clips of Me-262s on the ground. Does anyone know where I could find more? I don't remember ever really seeing much Me-262 footage before, it was really neat! :)

YouTube hosts an amazing collection of videos of all sorts. (And it's not just idiots falling off their skateboards.)

Here are a couple of wartime Me262 clips:

You can search for more. To save them, there are a number free utilities for grabbing SWF videos from there. You'll also need a utility capable of playing files in SWF format.

Thank you very much, the clips I saw were pulled from both of those. I should have looked on YouTube, I just figured it wouldn't have something that obscure! :?

I found an easy way to save them, although it took me a while to figure it out!Find where your browser stores its cache( I use Firefox, which on my comp is:

C:\Documents and Settings\James\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\az6ygkw6.default\cache

Internet Explorer is:

C:\Documents and Settings\James\Local Settings

),then empty it throught the browser options ( makes it easier to find the files if you have been doing a lot of surfing).

Then go and watch the vid, once its complete go to the cache folder, and look for the megabyte plus sized files ( on Firefox there are some files named Cache,it won't be them).Copy and paste it out to where you want to store it,then add the file type extension .flv ( swf may work as mentioned above, but I found this works for myself). All you need then is an FLV or SWF player to view them.

Once I figured it out a few weeks ago I got all the interesting 262 clips I could find off Youtube and Google!
