Hey guys,, it was brought up that we might be able to do another thread like Gary's with the PBJ. What do you guys think? It would be nice to have updates like that on this aircraft and a few others as well. I can't tell you all how much I have learned from Gary's thread.

Good idea!

I think all threads pertaining to a restoration should be "sticky'ed". That way we can keep track of the new posts and updates. :)

Theres more then one way to skin a cat.

erm...that could turn the entire first page into a huge sticky fest, meaning every time you log on you would have to jump to a new page in order to get to actual threads... perhaps if you limited the number of stickies?

I think its a pretty good idea. But as muddyboots mentions it would take up a lot of space here in the Hangar.

That's why my suggestion would be to create a NEW SECTION in the Forum Index where all the current and ongoing restorations could be viewed.

I imagine the list of restorations currently underway is quite lengthy so I'm sure the new section would get populated in no time. This would also serve to help in bringing attention, volunteers and funds to the lesser known restorations that could benefit from this.

Sticky it or do whatever is needed to keep it front and center. The Diamond Lil/Ol 927 thread has kept me coming back day after day

When I saw the PBJ thread, it doubled that pleasure. Watching these birds come together is the best some of us are going to be able to get to do with our warbird fantasies.

So their work helps fill a part of that dream.

I'd had to see it lost when it can't be that tough to keep it up front.

Eithor way, keep it where people can see it and find it.
