Saturday saw the first Shuttleworth Collection Evening Air Display of the 2007 season, and it was almost perfect! The wind was a bit lively keeping the Edwardians firmly in the hangar but everything else flew. And the light was just about perfect for an evening display. Credit has to go to the engineers and ground staff for pushing pulling selling and organising and the pilots for mastering the “interesting” wind.

The Red Arrows performed a flypast after overflying the so called sporting event at Wembley.

You've got some really great shots there. I love the Lysander ones!

Cheers and thanks for posting,

Steve Atkins entertained a friend of mine there and the sent me a email that eveything went great. I never saw any blue sky like that when I was there.

We met, albeit very briefly at the end of the show. It was wonderful light, possibly the best I have seen.

All I can say is there was several empty Champagne bottles by the picnic table
