Anybody know what P-47 was flying in the Atlanta area yesterday. I have a co-worker that swears he saw one flying over his house about 6:30 P.M..

PDK is having it's "Good Neighbor Day" this Saturday. I know that the Liberty Belle is supposed to show up. I think the Dixie Wing usually has a bunch of aircraft show up.

May be it was for that?

Hey Steve, I work here at PDK & I have not seen a P-47. I think maby my co-worker needs an eye exam. Liberty Belle has been here all week. They have been doing some flying, & I guess they will fly tomarrow. If you come out for the show, I will be on the Epps ramp. Just ask any Epps employee who I am & I am sure they can point me out. Take care.

Flying contests are after lunch.

Unfortunately the PBY is down with a bad engine and will not be here.

The Helicopter team is NOT scheduled to appear despite rumors to that effect. We will try to have them over at a later
date.

Don't forget to come to Zip's hangar party tomorrow night. Bring a dish to
share!

Jeff
I do not know the location of the Cat, My guess would be at the last airshow site or staged for the next? Last that I had herd, the sale was not a done deal and was pending the installation of the bilge pumps and other odds and ends. One of the Pilots also said that no money had changed hands and not to worry to much!!

Charlie's PBY was still at Tamiami Airport 2 weeks ago. Work was being done on the right engine.
