The F-86 you might be talking about was owned by the late Wyatt Fuller (spelling?) who unfortunately crased in the plane on take-off from his home base heading to Oshkosh last July. Subsequently the aircraft is no longer with us.

RIP Wyatt.

It might have been Dale Snodgrass flying, and it may have been Snort's plane but he was flying around in Wyatt's jet too. It's one or the other, I don't know of many other Sabres flying down there...

This was Wyatt Fuller flying his stunningly beautiful restored F-86 Sabre at the TICO Warbird Show in March 2006. Wyatt was a true gentleman and very gracious. I was fortunate enough to meet him at Winston-Salem, NC in Sept. 2005 and see him fly this beautiful Sabre. Wyatt's untimely and tragic passing were a true loss to the jet warbird community.

In my opinion that was the BEST looking restored Sabre I have ever seen.

R.I.P. Wyatt

By the way - Wyatt had plans to finish his T-33 in very similar markings to the Sabre. That would have been a real beauty, also.
