I just received a phone call today from a friend of mine and He is trying to find a set of air stairs for the Goshen, IN airshow this Saturday. They did have a set available locally but that deal has fallen through. I was told that even a B-1 stand would work. I know it is very short notice but any help would be greatly appreciated. The stairs are actually needed for a fellow WIX'ers plane (C-54).

Call around to any of the major airlines and cargo outfits nearby. Many still have obsolete airstairs sitting unused in their storage areas. They would probably loan them at no charge to another aviation outfit.

I picked up a towable airstair, tall enough for most of the current airliners, for free, just by asking. It needed a little work, but I had it completely restored in a weekend.
