Tue USA Today had a front section story on Steve and Ed leaving in a couple of days for England, in the P-38 and P-51. Steve has some text message device on board. Good luck and fair winds to these guys.

I saw that ABC World News Tonight will have a segment on Friday's newscast about Glacier Girl and the upcoming trip. It sounds like they have interviewed Steve Hinton as well.

Everybody set your DVRs.

Your local ABC affiliate. World News is generally on at 6:30PM Eastern/ 5:30PM Central and follows your local news.

If you go to the Planes of Fame website, there is a link to a message board that will allow you to ask questions of Steve & Ed during the flight. Looks pretty cool. 8)

Go to www.airshowbuzz.com and you can track the flight live! Live tracking should begin once the flight departs Teterboro at 1:30PM ET.

They are in Presque Isle, Maine. Flight today was scrubbed due to bad weather in Goose Bay and Frobisher Bay. They will check WX again in AM and, if able, should take off 1100 (whatever time zone they're in).

Flight can be tracked through www.airshowbuzz.com

LOL...probably not....I would have to re-create the Pacific crossing when they were ferried in '67. Much longer over ocean time and a flying gas tank with the whole interior filled with bladders and oil tanks. Hmmmm maybe the northern crossing to Europe might be better. We'll see :P
