Whose, What & Where?

Mon Jul 23, 2007 1:07 pm

its not really in an incorporated town, but its easy to find, its right off I-35 north of the Texas Speedway, right before the 114 hwy exit if you are heading south. you can post em however you like, just give me the photo credit. i think i have more pics too, i just have to pull em up. he also had a dismantled B-25 that used to be on a pole in front of a water park, so its been repainted.

???

Aero Valley?

52F?

Sounds like Northwest Regional - what used to be Aero Valley. I can't see any images, but the location described fits. I based there from about 1979 until I moved to Midland in the early 1990s.

I figured that the part about the B-25 would be getting me an answer within minutes. Time will tell.

I believe that is Northwest Regional airport near Roanoke and that is TB-25N, 44-86844, formerly on display at Kahuna’s Water & Adventure Park Destin, FL.

I have not seen a B-25 at NWR for many years now...certainly not on the side of the road or dismantled...

I read about this some time ago on the aerovintage.com website and it sounds like the same aircraft.

Wow!
Where in the heck did they hide this airplane at NWR?
I go around that airport on a fairly regular basis and didn't ever see it...must have been blind...

I have heard that it now belongs to the fighter factory. and it may be Traid Bait for other projects.
