For the B-17 named "Out House Mouse" did she have any mission markers like other bombers. Also did she have any noseart on the other side (Starboard).
I know she flew 139 missions and was the first bomber to be attacked by a German fighter jet.

"Outhouse Mouse" did have mission markers on the port side. Sorry, I can't find a picture of the starboard side. Maybe someone else has one?

I remember there being a painting of Out House Mouse being attacked by ME 163 Rocket Fighters and the detail was rather good.
I just can't remember who painted it.

The ME-163 was shot down by L/C John Murphy and Lt Cyril Jones (later KIA) of the 359th FG.

warbirdguy,
I don't believe Outhouse Mouse had nose art on the right side--most photos of 91st BG airplanes I've seen show art on the left only. There are exceptions, of course, but Cpl. Starcer was definitely one busy painter!

I tried looking up the painting and I found it, it was done by Tony Weddel
But for some reason I remember another painting of this same incident by a different artist that showed the nose art way better.

Actually the Keith Ferris painting is much better done and more accurate.
I don't believe it was ever sold in prints though.
