Just heard that aerobatic pilot Jim LeRoy went down in a fatal crash somewhere in Ohio. He was one of the Masters of Disaster with Jimmy Franklin and Bobby Younkin. Man has it been a rough week for EAA staffers. One of our own staff passed this week after a bout with cancer - just a few years older than me. Of course Gerry Beck's passing on Thursday, and the news of three employees at Scaled Composites killed in an explosion in Mojave.

Thank God for good friends and the support from WIX members and others to help us get through...

Zack

Not to be insensitive, but please search the forum when posting this kind of news as chances are there is already a mulitple page thread. Do we always have to have multiple threads on an accident Scott?

I started to post something earlier, but I seem to be at a loss for words today. Jim was one of those radient flyers that kept your heart in your mouth the second he took off. His high energy performances were a pleasure to watch. Godspeed Jim, we will miss you. My thoughts & prayers go to all affected by this accident.
Robbie
