Ultimate flyby ever to be seen?

Thu Aug 02, 2007 4:03 pm

Let say for fantasy/ high hope dept.

Any chance in future there could be a airshow with a flying display of every single type of aircraft the USAAF/USAF has flown?

Like a flying historical review..

From transports, trainers to bombers to fighters.. im sure there say from 1930-2007 nearly 1 of every type flying - OK some are never going to make it but a MASSIVE formation plan could be worked out right one day for such a event.. would be unique and very interesting if could be done somehow? or am i dreaming?

What could/ couldnt be put in air remeber only 1 of each type would be needed for the fly by...

I would be happy just to see the "century series" in the air at once.

Y'all might be interested in this: "Saving the Last Peacemaker" 3rd edition I worked on the plane in the late 70's about the time the attempt to return it to flight status was abandoned. (At one point they had all six engines running -but only one at a time, since they only had one set of instruments. :? )

I'd love to see a B-58 fly.

How about a Heritage Flight with a Wright Army Flyer and an F-35?

I'd love to see a B-29.

Also a good friend of mine wrenched on B-58 Hustlers in the 60's. He has lots of very interesting stories to tell about them.
