While at Oshkosh I heard a well known restoration shop was going to start making replacement spars for Corsairs :!:

If it is true, other than the OSH 99 birds what other viable projects become even more so with the ability to source new spars?

In the recent article covering Aero Trader in Warbirds International they mention that the manufacture of complex Corsair parts such as the center section spars has become an "economically viable propostion." :wink:
