Hello all,

I need assistance in obtaining images of the F3D, F7F, F4U-5N, F-82G, and F-94B and also any stories about the aircraft and the men who flew them (Post-WWII to 1953) for a book that will be published next year. Years ago such images could be obtained from the NARA for around $5.00 but now vendors are charging $20.00+. Images and stories will be credited in the book.

Thanks,

Alan C. Carey

Thanks

Are you looking for pictures from that timeframe, or any shots of those aircraft?

Just about all from that time frame with a few showing current aircraft on display or flying condition. This book will focus on the technical aspects and history of the aircraft as it relates to airborne intercept, night, and all weather technology during that time frame.

I have shots of a current flying F7F. I have some F4U shots, but am unsure of the - number on them.

I have some of some restored F7F's, P-82's, and F-94's.

Drop me a PM with the size you want and an e-mail address to send them to, and I will get the F7F shot together and see which F4U shots I have.
