I never got to sit down and talk to Gerry. I only got to say a few quick lines here and there during the show, but i bet he would want to see his love and joy flying again.

Thanks. I feel sad when I see that airplane too, and was almost hesitant to even post the picture. The accident happened right in front of me shortly after I took that picture. I refused to take any pictures of the aftermath because I knew those few moments would be something I would never forget and didn't need any reminders. It finally dawned on me that there was a reason I took that picture, and that image will be how I always remember one of my idols.

Im glad you took the picture! It's sad to see but on the other hand its good to remember them both!
