Bitchin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched that video clip over and over!

I grew up next to Miramar in the 70's and early 80's. I always loved watching the F-14 flying. I used to love watching them take off using afterburner at twilight.

Soo...can anybody explain exactly why the 14's were retired? Are the latest 18's really as capable?

The official policy is maint requirements.

Many believe they were retired in order to buy Super Hornets and F-35s.

Has the Super Hornet turned put to be an improvement over the 14 and the Intruder?
