I've seen pics of that type of blister on AT-11s, but not with a gun installed. That doesn't necessarilly mean it's not authentic, though..there were any number of mods to the Beech 18 for gunnery bombardier, and navigation training.

It's an early Beechcraft Turret.

Later replaced with a more advanced typ turret like the Crocker-Wheeler Turret. This turret example at the MAPS museum.
