Dominic (don) Gentile Question

Does anyone have a clue as to the serial number of the P-51D that Major Gentile was given upon his return to the US after smacking up his 51B.

Thank you Mike and Steve, appreciate your help here, I saw where one of the diecast manufacturers had the D model of Gentile's 51, but I wasn't quite so sure about the serial on the plane.
