Doolittle Raider flys B-25 again

Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:58 pm

A friend of mine reports that at the Stuart (FL) Air Show this past weekend, Richard Cole got some stick time in the B-25J "Killer B." He along with Ed Horton and Tom Griffin were at the show signing autographs. Yesterday the B-25 made an unscheduled flight and my friend learned Cole was at the controls after they landed.

Yeah, I can confirm that. Wasn't there, but I know the pilot of 'Killer'

WOW ! He ought to be requalled in the B-25 by now. He flew Tondelayo earlier this year then Special Delivery not long ago, and now Killer B. Good for him, I'll bet that he could fly in any B-25 in the country if he'd just ask.
