I have a bunch of photos taken at DM AFB with a supper connies just before their demise. One was named "old blue from point magoo" Im sure they are all beer cans now...

Pretty neat how in this pic you can actually see the remnants of the Trans Canada Airlines colors on the portion of the nose that got covered when the it was extended to house the weather radar. Funny how the paint was not removed when the extension was 'grafted' on.

Hopefully I'll find out when they eventually move her to the museum so I can take a day off for that. I just hope they let everyone know when it's coming in, as in the past, the museum has been very tight-lipped about aircraft movements. I missed the last B-17 flight they had for the F-model as well as the Concorde arrival. I think them putting that Stratoliner into Elliot Bay in 2002 might have had something to do with them not wanting to advertise flights before they happened?
