News from the National Air and Space Museum via Aero-News.Net:

"This fall, to mark the December 15 Udvar-Hazy Center's first
anniversary, 21 additional aircraft will be added to the 82
currently on display in the Udvar-Hazy Center's aviation hanger.
They include the Westland Lysander IIIA airplane, used for ferrying
secret agents in and out of enemy territory during World War II;
and the Bell H-13J, which, in 1957, became the first helicopter to
carry a U.S. president, Dwight D. Eisenhower. "

Ah good. I was wondering if they would announce when they were adding more aircraft. Hope to make a return visit sometime next year.

How many in this group were able to go tour the Garber facility? I have pictures from my visit there in 1995 or 1996. Was amazing to see all those rare aircraft. Dont think I could pick a favorite aircraft from my visit... all those German aircraft was a sight to behold! Glad they are all to be displayed at somepoint!

I was there in 1998 and was very impressed with the rare German and Japanese warbirds. There were so many awesome aircraft that I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite as well. The Focke-wulf Ta-152H was very cool though.
