Unusual dates for La Ferte-Alais airshow 2008

Mark your calendars, but beware, next year La Ferte-Alais airshow will not be on Pentecost week-end as it has been for the last 35 years, but will take place on May 31 - june 1, 2008.

This summer they held it on the 26-27th of May. My girlfriends mother's 70th birthday. Which meant no airshow for me as they had the celebrations all sorted out in Norway. When I mentioned Paris for the weekend 31/5- 1/6 -08 next year it was agreed that the 71st birthday could be spent in France. This gives me the chance to look at aircraft while the ladies "shop till they drop". Looks like I might eventually make it to La Ferte then...
