too bad they used that tractor pull engine in it! :D Did you know that RR was working on a mid engine p-51 using the griffon right at the end of WWII. They had it to the mock up stage and it looked pretty promising. Pictures can be seen in the RR heritage books about the merlin......

The P-39 is a sweet A/C. I have upwards to 10 min's in one as I was sitting in the CAF's at a dance one night in San Marcos, TX with Ron Iberg show me the switches.... :wink:

The T-34C was much better, had a fire guard (you) , A/C and I was on the clock... :wink:
