Warbird Information Exchange

Anybody have any pictures of this before it crashed in 1981? Anybody know its current status? Is it still stored?

It's still in storage/long-term restoration with McPhearson. The main spar was broken in the crash, which normally would render the plane into the "spare parts" category. Fortunately, McPhearson bought another (FG-1D) center wing section out of St. Louis years ago to help reestablish the project as a viable candidate for airworthiness.
