Warbird Information Exchange

Here at Basic Books we are working on the upcoming publication of the collected letters of Richard P. Feynman. I am writing with the hope that someone might be able to help me contact Jack Hardwick, whose letter to Feynman the editor would like to include. His name came up on a web search as listed on the Warbird registry site for keeping a B-25C in his yard. According to the information we have, he was previously the site manager for DynCorp and was located in Arcadia, California in 1965. We were hoping that someone might know more information about him and how we could get in contact with him.

Jack Harwick did have a yard (was it in El Monte, CA?) where many well known warbirds came out of...but surely now he is long dead. Contact Ed Maloney at the Planes of Fame at Chino he would know more.

Hardwick was killed in an auto accident in 1984.
