Try a B-1 sometime.....lets just say, burnt leg hairs and no eyebrows!

( my buddy was jogging near the end of the Offutt runway when a B-1 took off )

Almost smoked him good!

Back off dude! She's all mine. Her name is Kari. Now if I could just get her to drop the restraining order against me everything would be fine.

My first duty station after combat school was MinotAFB in North Dakota in February of 1982. To say it was cold is an understatement! -50 with the windchill  There was a full-fledged nuclear exercise going on and with me being the new guy, I had to "guard" the barbed wire fence running the length of the B-52 maintenance ramp. After a B-52 was uploaded, the maintenance guys would fire up the engines and let them run for about 10 minutes. I learned quickly that it got very warm behind the blast shields! Only problem was trying to hold your breath long enough to warm up as those old deisel motors put out some choking smoke! But I got warm

Now trn&brn, what the heck has that got to do with Kari ? Why would you want to muddy up a thread that was properly hijacked ? :D

Kari probably set off the fire bottle just by holding it. With a look that hot, who could not loose control when she held you. :D
