Anyone happen to have a copy of the Air Classics issue that had an article on the 1986 CWH airshow that they could scan in?

Sorry I don't know which issue...

Thanks,

Jim

I just took posession of a large number of Air Classics. An issue covering the CWH show rings a bell. I'll take a look when I get home tonight.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Hey Jim,

How bad do you need it. I could dig it out for you if no one else comes up with it. What are you looking for? That was the year of the big Mustang roundup with 20 odd P-51s.

Hmm, I guess I hacked up that issue as I have the cover taped to my photo album with the P-51 round up pics. The issue is December 1986 Vol22 No12.

Just checked the remaining issues inside this one box, and all I have is from the 1970s.

If I happen to find the issue you want Jim, would you want it?

I offer to send it to you for your collection; that is, if I have it.

Saludos,

Tulio

Check your inbox Jim. I only scanned the pages with text and left out the ads and full page pics.

Mike,

Thanks...that is the year after. (Still cool!) Eric is correct the issue I am looking for is December 1986 Vol22 No12.

Tulio...if you find it and don't need it, I'll take it off your hands...but all I really need is a scan.

Thanks guys!

Jim

Is that the Air Classics with the three P-51's on the cover including Pete McManus'? Have it in storage.

That is the one. Tight shot with 4 P-51s in line-abreast.
