I''ve just come back from Argentina and while there couldn't resist the temptation to visit the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica in Buenos Aires.

As there seemed to be some confusion regarding the identity of the Lincoln I tried to get confirmation by looking for a constructors plate.
According to Bob Ogden's book the aircraft is supposed to be RE351, c/n 1408. He mentions that the aircraft is also reported as being RE408, c/n 1414.

On the port tailfin was a manufacturers serial plate stating the aircraft to be a Lincoln A, S/N S4-M1267, date of manufacture 20-07-1948. So is this aircraft 1408, 1414 or even 1267?
