Gang, Here's a rare promotional film for the 1948 TUCKER Car. Note the film footage showing the TUCKER Combat Car & Machine Gun Turret. It claims that the Combat Car was never mass produced, but the Gun Turret was used in "PT Boats, Bombers & Other Military Vehicles". Was this true?? What Bombers were they used in??
Possibly a British Contract??

You can get the "TUCKER" Movie on DVD at Amazon for just 10 bucks.
It's a Great Film & has some awesome "Special Features":

I'd like to see someone make a Reproduction TUCKER Combat Car. Who cares if it was "too fast".
I want one!!
It would probably sell pretty well to today's Space Age Military...

I have never been able to determine what if any aircraft that they were used in however I have confirmed that they were used in the Higgins version of the PT boat.

A reproduction of the Tucker Combat Car was built for the movie and last I heard it was on display at Francis Ford Coppola's winery. I have no idea how accurate it is mechanically but I think it looked pretty cool.
