Easy you can only have one favorite. Who just leaps out of your mind.
Not not really talking collectors, big $$$ or the guy with the mostest.
I've known a few that make the short list like Bud Granley, Lars the Swede and Crash Williams. 8)

Elmer Ward, Clay Lacey, Ed Schneff were some of my most interesting encounters however one character I will never forget is Charles "Uncle Bud" Crosby. He was a member of the SoCal CAF for many, many years. He also used to work the fuel truck at the CAF big CAF show in Midland. He was a friend for many years and sadly passed away a number of years ago.

The most talented person I ever met was a guy named Tim Cruz who could build absolutely anything from scratch. He unfortunately passed away a few years ago as well.

Gary Austin. Meeting him at Oshkosh last year, and having him take the time out of a crazy day to come and talk with us, was really something special. I got a great photo of Bear, myself and him by the nose of the B-24. It was a very cool day for me. Also the cook out at Zach's house and all of the great people I met there was just really great. I don't know if that counts to you all, but those moments mean alot to me.
