Due to the rudeness and sheer disgusting private attacks on me in this forum i am not passing anymore useful information on to anyone here anymore until _____________________.

Some of you people call yourself "men"?

Normal men dont attack other people over posting on a forum. Children normally drop to such a level and sadly people like __ ___ and __ are such pathetic example of men, that even children would be smarter than you.

Problem is everyone yabbers and posts way to many photos here and information and CLOGS up the topics.

I am not the only one at fault here.

Look at your own posts before you blast others for providing information that obviously you never seen in some cases.

Problem is the topics most i see relate to manily Jack Cook x 10000, some mad topics issues and then trivial posts.

Woooo settle mate.Don,t pack up your bat and ball. It,s easy to fire back and duck out but a lot harder to stand your ground and maneuver out in the open. One thing I have learn't about forums over the years is the amenity of it all.A lot of the guys here are hardcore restorers, builders and flyers. If they say something it is usually for a reason. My advice take it on the chin, stand up,take no prisoners or BS but learn and listen.Remember respect is earned, not given. You do post some good stuff but it is a bit disorganized.Just keep the lightswitch on and sometimes it,s better to say a lot of things in one post than not much in lots of them.Quality not quantity.Your hearts in the right place just don,t blow up your brain in the process.Cheers.

HGUCSU...take it from a guy who has been here for a while and been on the receiving end of some rather childish remarks...it ain't fun, but ya can't just give in. There is so much info on this site and you do seem to provide some good input. The problem seems that you don't know how to organize all of the things that you want to post. As far as attacking Jack Cook...not a good thing to do. He has a plethora of knowledge that dummies like me really enjoy reading and more so looking at all of the fabulous pix that he posts! Instead of attacking him, maybe ask him for some advice. As the last poster put it, respect is earned. Ask questions of the guys like Jack and so many others here who will not jump down your throat because you like Spitfires more than Mustangs!

If you feel you need to go, go quietly. Don't burn your bridges because you feel as though you got slammed. Ya might wanna come back here some day.

Now...back to my ramblings and pi$$ing people off with my stupidity

Translation: HGUCSU will 'disapear' and another identical poster will surface in a little while. When Sabredriver, sorry, HGUCSU decides to adopt another name, please act on the requests and advice received.

I don't see any 'disgusting private attacks' but several requests to cease cluttering up the forum with junk mail. Most don't care about 'you' but request your actions be changed for everyone's benefit. You need only change your behaviour and take a moment to think before pressing the buttons.

Incidentally, I also fail to recall a single post which was of use or 'beneficial'. That may be harsh, and others may well have found items of interest, but I was only opening posts because I lived in hope of worthwhile content, usually under a semi-literate and often mystery headline. I'd like to have ignored them, and perhaps should have.

As has been said, respect is earned, and many posters, I suspect including your list of blanks, have gained respect because of their genuinely useful input, rather than wandering the web.

Just my two credits, back to my planet, again.

Did I friggin' miss something here? All I have seen is him posting a link to a picture of an airplane. THAT"S IT!!! THat is all I have seen. If I have missed something here well excuse me, but I do feel that some were rude to a guy that was just trying to share some pics. He didn't steal the pics to his photobucket, and then post them as his own, he just sent a link to the website hosting it. Where is that so bad?

HGUCSU:

Please note that Scott has created a place specifically for you (and others so moved) to post all the video links you want. It's called "Base Theater".

Thanks to Scott, we now have a win-win scenario: Those who enjoy surfing the video links have the option of going to "Base Theater", while those who would like to avoid having a cluttered hangar are now appeased.

Please continue to post video links, simply post them in the location created just for guys like you. Now THAT'S service!! Thanks, Scott!

If I understood you correctly then yes, maybe you have missed something. It’s not about one or two posts, but 8 or whatever more consecutive ones from the same source. Would you have liked if I posted 10 consecutive individual links to images that I eventually found at Airliners.net? Read my opinion on Hellcat’s post: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... hp?t=19956

I should have made a print screen for you to see. Since his posts are all scattered now, maybe it really doesn’t make any sense to you. What people are asking is for him to have some common sense before posting. I think nobody dislikes him or wants him banned, that's all...
Cheers,
SC.

On the contrary Mon Ami. You are. The rest of us are totally, squeaky clean.

Lighten up...put on your "BIG BOY" underwear and just keep posting your links. Just do it in the assigned place.

Mudge the faultless

ps...We'll deal with that Jack Cook person in our own way. Right troops? Huh? OK?

pps...Ross...GOD LORDNESS...hit the space bar every now and then.

I do understand you , I just think we were a little rude to him. Maybe it is just coming off that way because it is just type, and that is how I am reading into it.

Yep, now I really do undestand you! :)

But you know how an angry mob works, right? I don't know who raised the question, but he responded, then another one fired back, things got larger and larger and there's no way to stop when everybody is hyped up. And today is Monday. Not the best day of the week for calmness!

Ahhh..I thought about this quote all day. Sabredriver virtually dropped from the WIX the
same week in September that HGUCSU registered. Now it makes sense. Thanks Raven..

Cheers,
SC.

I quit counting at 16 posts in a row...all derivative from Shay's thread, "Where are they
now..Philly 1955?"...rather than discussing them with us in the thread. Clutter..

But, I believe he had an "axe to grind".. maybe he was pissed about Scott
opening the "Base Theatre" sticky and installing him as first recipient...and maybe he
was trying to make some kinda' gripe about Jack Cook..So he spammed us with "stillshot" links...

Reread the last lines of his statement starting this thread...
