Warbird Information Exchange

Hello all-

I am researching former President Bush's service in WWII, most specifically his training phase. I know that he went to Wold Chamberlain Field in Minneapolis, MN in November 1942, where he did most of his initial training. His first solo took place there in a Spartan NP-1.

Does anyone have any info on that field? Photos from WWII etc? Any info you have would be appreciated and helpful.
