The Whales at Van Nuys are operated by Raytheon (my employer) on DoD electronics flight test contracts. Anyone have any recent photos, or perhaps videos of them in action?

Then had one at Whidbey a few years ago and I chatted with the pilots and got a nice tour of the cockpit 8)

Ypu can see them on google earth, corrner of Saticoy & Valjean near the old Lockheed hangars.

Woohoo, my father used to be flight engineer on EA-3's with VQ-2 in the 60s before transitioning to EP-3 Orions with VQ-1 in the 70s
