Thought a lot of you would be interested in this interesting article... it discusses some of the unusual social factors behind the new Red Baron movie and why von Richthofen hasn't been a hero in his own country since WW2. Very interesting food for thought.

Even thought he movie will surely be dramatized a bit, I still hope that it will at least bring WWI aviation and the early history of air combat to the public consciousness a bit more.
